martha stewart's banana bread
With a bunch of over-ripe bananas rotting away on my counter I decided to make some banana bread. I had never used Martha Stewart's recipe before, but in the end it produced a super-moist classic loaf of banana goodness. I omitted the walnuts, but I'm sure they would add a nice crunchy dimension to the bread.

Nothing like banana bread - looks great! Do you smoother it in butter like me or eat it in the nude? There's actually a breakfast dinner (Nelly's) here in Calgary that serves deep-fried (or perhaps it's pan-fried) banana bread on the side of their fruit cups. Sooooo good!
ReplyDeletesmothered in butter (like, every inch needs to be covered) is the best! though this talk of deep-fried banana bread is luring me out west even more....
