I stumbled upon Sushi Shop in Ottawa a few years ago when it had opened a location in the market. I questioned the quality and authenticity of the sushi they were serving and didn't get a chance to try it. On my recent trip to Montreal I yet again came across a Sushi Shop and gave it a chance. These sleek modern take-out restaurants are big there and I must say that the sushi was pretty good. There are many Sushi Shop outlets and it's one of the biggest sushi franchises in Quebec. It recently surfaced in Toronto with it's Carlton St. location. Having many sushi options here in the city, I'd still suggest giving it a try if you're on the go.
